As
a visiting artist, Covington Clay's instructor, Rick Hoffman, offers pottery
artist-in-residence programs to
Cincinnati area schools. On occasion, special arrangements may be
made to travel to schools outside of the Cincinnati area.
Rick teaches the entire student body during their individual art classes. He uses clay and a potter's wheel to integrate multiple curricula.
All students also participate by making a distinctive tile which the artist later uses to create a mosaic for the school.
